Subject: Spurious 'Research'

Hi List,

Did you get that "big willy" story still bouncing around moron-
media world? And that includes the broadsheets and the BBC.

www.guardian.co.uk/life/badscience/story/0,,1928027,00.html

As you can see, Ben Goldacre, for UK's `The Guardian', has
checked it out - it's all rubbish.

[Actually, anyone with even a slight grasp of history (and how
sex works) should've known it was garbage.]

But it's amusing to hear Ben's shock horror as he says - "More
and more, empty 'science' stories are being generated by PR
companies who pay academics to produce some spurious piece of
'research'..

Listers are probably aware of a whole generation of Gov't PR-men
- and their spurious 'research'.

Cheers

Ray D
