This theory is "great" because it will provide a justifiable impetus for careful investigation of the video. Any ball lightning theorist must make some predictions about what the ball lightning would do and these predictions can be chacked against the actual video information. Verifiable proof of ball lightning would be a "prize winning" event. If scientists think this video proves the existence of ball lightning, then they should spend time analyzing it (and not dismiss it as secret US aircraft, balloons, meteors, or high speed pelicans inside plasma balls... or whatever!)
